Family-owned. Authentic. Since 2021.

Christopher Nazir and Nirmal Singh opened Bawarchi's in June 2021. Between them they'd spent years cooking the food of India and Pakistan, and they wanted a place in the East Bay where it was made the way it's made at home — tandoori off the skewer, curries left to simmer, biryani finished under dum, breads out of the clay oven all night.

We're still a family-run restaurant, and most days you'll find one of us in the dining room. Come in, tell us how you like your spice, and we'll take care of the rest.
