Our Story
A family kitchen, opened to the East Bay.
Christopher Nazir and Nirmal Singh opened Bawarchi's in June 2021 with a simple idea: cook the food they grew up on, and cook it properly, for their neighbors here in the East Bay.
That means tandoori straight off the skewer, curries that take their time on the stove, and biryani finished under dum the way it should be. Nothing rushed, nothing out of a jar. We're glad you're at the table.

The Weekend Grand Buffet
Every Saturday and Sunday we lay out the full spread — separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian stations, tandoori off the grill, biryani, a rotation of curries, bread coming out of the clay oven all afternoon, and dessert to finish. Eat as much as you like.
